Men are you listening? I’m about to share some of the best advice regarding women that I’ve heard in a long time. The advice is as follows…

Before you embark upon any type of relationship with a woman, be crystal clear about your intentions with her up front before things go any further. If its your intention to be just friends…tell her, if you want her as a girlfriend tell her…if you want a side piece (yep I said it)…tell her. When I say be crystal clear I mean talk to her open and honestly and make sure you reinforce it by telling her again from time to time. Men if you do this you will definitely stop a decent female turning psycho on you because you told her from the beginning. Now I know what you’re thinking…women don’t listen…and its true…we don’t. We often get into situations thinking we can change his mind because we really don’t wanna hear what he has to say after we’ve already planned the wedding in our heads (oh…its just me? LOL). This lovely piece of advice was said by Dr Umar Johnson, he’s a psychologist and relationship councillor, check out his website here. I think that this advice is golden because it causes men to be more decisive about what they want and honest, and that is a challenge. If you want to be a bachelor and sleep with as many women as possible, thats ok. If you are looking for the ONE and believe you will know when you meet her, thats ok too. As long as you let us know from the beginning and beyond…just be consistent.

I think its time that males and females got serious about being connected as one, especially from 30+. Your 20’s may be for running around and having fun (although some people are serious about what they want in a mate from then) but in your 30s your should want to build a foundation. I’m aware that things don’t always work out the way you may have hoped but at least you tried and I believe God will honour that and you will reap the harvest elsewhere.
